Actuate Therapeutics Reports Positive Phase II Data In Salivary Gland Cancers

Actuate Therapeutics, Inc. (ACTU) on Monday reported positive results from a Phase II study evaluating elraglusib in combination with carboplatin or cisplatin in patients with advanced metastatic salivary gland cancers, including adenoid cystic carcinoma (ACC) and other subtypes.

The study enrolled 47% ACC and 53% non-ACC patients. Median overall survival (OS) was 18.6 months, with 58% alive at 1 year and 40% at 2 years. Non-ACC patients had a median OS of 27.8 months. Median progression-free survival (PFS) was 6.4 months, with 27% of patients remaining progression-free at 1 year, compared with historical PFS estimates of 49 months for ACC and less than 6 months for non-ACC.

The results were published in Clinical Cancer Research.

Actuate shares rose more than 4% in pre-market trading, after closing at $7.52 on Friday, up 1.35%.
