Corning Stock Rises 15% Over Deal With Meta To Build Advanced Data Centers In US

Shares of Corning Inc. (GLW) are moving up about 15 percent during Tuesday's trading following its multi-year deal with Meta Platforms, Inc. (META) to accelerate the buildout of the most advanced data centers in the United States.

The stock is currently trading at $110.13, up 15.95 percent, over the previous close of $94.95 on the New York Stock Exchange. It has traded in the range of $37.31 to $113.99 in the past one year.

Under the deal, valued at up to $6 billion, Corning will expand manufacturing capabilities across its operations in North Carolina.
