Stock of 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc. (FLWS) is climbing about 22 percent on Thursday morning following the announcement of its second-quarter financial results, which revealed increase in profit to $70.55 million, or $1.10 per share, from last year's $64.35 million, or $1.00 per share.
Currently, FLWS is trading at $4.91, up 22.43 percent, over the previous close of $4.04, on the Nasdaq. The stock traded between $2.93 and $9.12 in the past one year.
However, the company's revenue for the quarter fell 9.5 percent, to $702.18 million from $775.49 million in the previous year.
