Mitie Group Plc (MTO.L,MITFY,MITFF) Tuesday said that it has extended its contract with Co-op to deliver security, alarm monitoring, and crime and intelligence services across more than 2,300 stores and over 800 Funeralcare branches nationwide. As part of the extension, Mitie said that it has introduced a new team of Elite Response Officers, deployed to stores facing persistent localised crime. These specialists will provide targeted guidance and on-the-ground support to ensure safer, more secure environments for colleagues and customers alike, the company said in an official statement.
