Indonesia Bourse May See Renewed Selling Pressure

The Indonesia stock market on Tuesday snapped the two-day losing streak in which it had tumbled more than 370 points or 5 percent. The Jakarta Composite Index now sits just above the 7,440-point plateau and it's likely to see little movement on Wednesday.

The global forecast for the Asian markets is fairly flat as traders await further developments in the Middle East conflict. The European markets were up and the U.S. bourses were mixed and flat and the Asian markets are likely to follow the latter lead.

In Asia, the monetary policy session of the Indian central bank was in focus as the country, a major oil importer, reels under the pressures of a weaker rupee and rising inflation.
