Turkey's consumer price inflation moderated in March after rising to a 4-month high in February, figures from the Turkish Statistical Institute showed on Friday.
Consumer price inflation slowed to 30.87 percent in March from 31.53 percent in February. The expected inflation rate was 31.4 percent.
The annual price growth in food and non-alcoholic beverages eased to 32.36 percent from 36.44 percent. Inflation based on housing softened to 42.06 percent from 42.33 percent. Meanwhile, transport charges grew at a faster pace of 34.35 percent.
