KWS SAAT 9-Mnth Net Income Rises 8.5%; Backs FY26 Outlook

KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA (KWS.F,KWS.DE) Tuesday said that its net income climbed 8.5 percent in the first nine months of fiscal 2026, helped by good performance in the Sugarbeet segment. Looking ahead, the company also confirmed its outlook for fiscal 2026.

The German plant-breeding company reported net income of 220.0 million euros or 6.67 euros per share in the first nine months of the year, higher than 202.8 million euros or 6.15 euros per share in the same period last year.

According to KWS SAAT, pre-tax earnings rose 16.2 percent to 314.3 million euros from 270.4 million euros in the year-ago period.

The company's net sales rose slightly in the nine months to 1.35 billion euros from 1.34 billion euros in the previous-year period. On a comparable basis, net sales rose 2.6 percent, helped by earlier shipments.

EBITDA for the nine months came in at 386.8 million euros, up 7.2 percent from last year's 360.8 million euros.

Looking ahead, the company also reaffirmed its fiscal 2026 outlook of stable revenue on a comparable basis and EBITDA margin, excluding the positive one-time effect in the range of 19 percent to 21 percent.

On the XETRA Exchange, KWS.DE ended Monday's trading at 78.00 euros, up 0.78 percent.
