WORK Medical Establishes U.S. Subsidiary Work Bio To Support Global Expansion; Stock Up

WORK Medical Technology Group LTD (WOK), a medical device supplier, announced on Wednesday the establishment of its subsidiary Work Bio Technologies Ltd. in the U.S. on account of the company's global expansion initiative and long-term growth strategy.

WORK Medical is a company based in China, along with its subsidiary Work Medical Treatment Equipment Co., Ltd. (Hangzhou). It supplies and manufactures Class I and Class II medical devices with a portfolio of over 23 products, which includes customized and multifunctional masks and other medical consumables.

In alignment with WOK's long-term growth strategy, Work Bio will serve as the primary operational platform in the United States and strengthen WORK Medical's commercial platform by enhancing its ability to manage supply chains and develop business relationships in the U.S.

Additionally, Work Bio is expected to support WOK's international expansion by establishing an operational framework across the global market to enhance regulatory compliance and support international customers and business partners.

Wu Shuang, President of Work Bio, commented, "Combining U.S. operational presence with existing capabilities accelerates business development, deepens international partnerships, and further strengthens investors' confidence in WORK Medical's global growth strategy."

WOK closed Wednesday's trading up 2.98% at $0.107. Following the news, in the pre-market, WOK is up 2.80% at $0.11.
