Elvis Costello has extended his "Radio Soul" tour, now billed as "The Songs of Elvis Costello From The Early Days to the Late Hours," by six new dates.
These six new dates travel from the Mid-Atlantic to the Midwest and Canada, starting September 10 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and running through September 18 in Muskegon, Michigan.
These are currently the only scheduled North American appearances with an electric band. The newly added shows follow a European tour which kicks off in Lund, Sweden, on June 5, all of which will take place before Costello performs at Riot Fest in Chicago.
Starting in summer 2025, "Radio Soul!: The Songs of Elvis Costello From The Early Days to the Late Hours" tour, performed by Elvis Costello & The Imposters with Charlie Sexton, has sold out dozens of shows across the country and internationally.
The Imposters are Steve Nieve, Pete Thomas and Davey Faragher and they are joined once again by guitarist Charlie Sexton.
The show will feature numbers drawn from record releases from My Aim Is True in 1977 to Blood & Chocolate in 1986, along with other surprises.
About the surprising theme of this tour, Costello said, "For any songwriter, it has to be a compliment if people want to hear songs written up to fifty years ago. Among them, 'Radio Soul,' the first draft of what eventually became 'Radio Radio.'"
