GSK To Acquire Nuvalent For $124/shr; To Be Accretive To Core EPS In 2029

GSK plc (GSK,GSK.L) has entered an agreement to acquire Nuvalent, Inc. (NUVL), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on creating precisely targeted oncology therapies, for $10.6 billion. The company noted that the acquisition includes three products in lung cancer in a single transaction. GSK will account for the transaction as a business combination.

Luke Miels, CEO, GSK said: "The two lead products are potential best-in-class assets that could launch this year if approved by the FDA and offer significant new treatment options to patients with two forms of non-small cell lung cancer."
