Shares of Foundation Coal Holdings (FCL) traded with a lack of direction in Monday's morning trading and then moved higher in the afternoon, closing just off of its intraday high. The stock ended the day at $76.30 up $3.97 from Friday.
Monday's more than 5% gain extended a recent uptrend, setting a multi-year closing high.
