Altair Nanotechnologies (ALTI) advanced in pre-market trading, up nearly 7 percent. The rally came after the company announced successful grid interconnection and operation of two-megawatt battery system.
The stock was up 10 cents around 9:25 am ET, rising to $1.55. If pre-market gains hold, the stock will pare Monday's losses.
