Tuesday, Humana Inc. (HUM) said that Mark El-Tawil has been appointed market president of the company's Arizona's operations. El-Tawil will be responsible for the overall management and strategic planning for Humana's commercial, consumer-driven and self-insured health benefit products sold to employer groups in Arizona.
Prior to joining Humana, El-Tawil served as Health Net Inc.'s Chief Senior Product Officer where he was responsible for the company's Medicare operations nationally, and has served as Health Net's Arizona market president.
