Monday, International Flavors & Fragrances, Inc. (IFF), a manufacturer of fragrance and flavor products, announced the appointment of Richard O'Leary as Interim Chief Financial Officer effective July 31. He will also be a member of the company's Leadership Team. O'Leary's appointment follows the earlier revealed departure of Douglas Wetmore, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
The New York-based company said O'Leary joined IFF in July 2007 as Vice President, Corporate Development, responsible for the Capital Appropriations Process and Information Technology. Prior to his stint with IFF, O'Leary was with International Paper for more than 20 years, where he most recently functioned as chief financial officer, IP do Brasil Ltda from 2004 to 2007.
IFF closed Monday's regular trading at $39.33, down $0.39 or 0.98%, on a volume of 580,603 shares on the NYSE.
