Air Products & Chemicals (APD) dropped sharply at the open Thursday, but settled into a range for the majority of the session. The stock closed lower by $2.61 at $70.98 on the highest volume of the year. Air Products & Chemicals has been losing ground for nearly a month and closed Thursday at a new low for the year.
