True Religion Apparel Climbs In Pre-Market On Higher Q3 EPS

True Religion Apparel (TRLG) rallied in pre-market trading, after the company reported a rise in third quarter profit.

The stock was up $1.75 just after 9:15 am ET, rising to $17.60. If pre-market gains hold, the stock will open at its highest level in two and a half weeks.

True Religion Apparel posted third quarter net income of $15.4 million or $0.64 per share, up from $8.8 million or $0.37 per share in the prior year quarter.

On average, six analysts polled by First Call/Thomson Financial expected the company to report earnings of $0.47 per share.

Net sales in the third quarter were $79.4 million, up 63.9% from $48.4 million in the year-ago period. Five Wall Street analysts expected revenues of $65.84 million.
