Wednesday, agricultural and construction equipment manufacturer CNH Global N.V. (CNH), said that Rubin McDougal, its current Chief Financial Officer, is resigning from the company, effective June 22, 2009, to pursue other business interests outside the equipment industry. The company also said it expects to name a successor shortly.
McDougal was appointed as the CFO of CNH on October 14, 2006. He came to CNH after a long stint in Whirlpool Corp., where he was involved in finance, strategic planning and business development. From 2001 to 2004, he was the CFO of Whirlpool Europe. From 1993 to 1996, he served in Asia with the charge of strategic planning and business development.
CNH, short for Case New Holland, was created in 1999 after the merger of New Holland N.V. and Case Corp. It is a majority-owned subsidiary of Fiat S.p.A., the parent company of Italy's Fiat Group.
CNH is currently trading at $17.76, down $0.93 or 4.98%, on the NYSE.
