Despite President Obama's anti-outsourcing policy, Infosys Technologies has bagged a BPO deal for $10 million under a three-year contract for providing back-end support such as data processing to Microsoft, reported the Economic Times quoting a person close to the development.

It is believed that Infosys BPO also bagged another three- year deal valued at $15 million from European telecom major Alcatel-Lucent, but it did not materialize due to legal issues. According to official sources, the telecom major is said to have floated a second request for the proposal and the IT major's BPO arm is likely to bag the deal. However, both the companies were not available for comments.
