Invesco Ltd. (IVZ), announced the appointment of James B. Lockhart III as vice chairman of its investment affiliate WL Ross & Co. LLC, effective September. Lockhart is currently serving as the director and chairman of the Oversight Board of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, or FHFA.
Previously, Lockhart served as director of the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight, which is now part of FHFA. FHFA is the regulator of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and the 12 Federal Home Loan Banks.
