Vivo Participacoes (VIV) gapped open slightly lower Friday, but traded to the upside until around the middle of the afternoon. The stock closed higher by $1.25 at $26.18 on the highest volume in 4 months.
Vivo Participacoes has been gaining ground since the beginning of the week. The stock finished Friday at a new high for the year.
