RIT Capital Partners PLC (RCP.L) reported first-half profit of GBP 298.3 million or 193.1 pence per share, compared to loss of GBP 150.9 million or 97.5 pence per share last year.
Pre-tax profit was GBP 313.1 million, compared to pre-tax loss of GBP 149.5 million in the prior year period.
Investment income was GBP 16.5 million, compared to GBP 17.9 million in the same period last year.
