Wednesday, Medusa Mining Ltd (MML.L,MML.TO) said its half-year profit before income tax expense increased to US$28.28 million from US$7.98 million in the prior year period. Total comprehensive income for the period grew to US$32.29 million from US$6.56 million in the year-ago period. Earnings per share for the period were US$0.167, up from US$0.065 in the earlier period.
Revenue for the period rose to US$41.32 million form US$15.78 million in the comparable period.
