Health Care REIT, Inc. (HCN) said on Tuesday that it is planning to redeem all 313,972 shares of its 7.5% series G cumulative convertible redeemable preferred stock (HCN PrG) at a redemption price of $25.00 per share plus accrued and unpaid dividends through September 30, 2010.
HCN closed Tuesday's regular trading at $45.93, up $0.49 or 1.08%. Further, the stock gained $0.01 or 0.02% in the after hours.
