Japan M2 Money Stock +2.7% On Year In September

The M2 money stock in Japan was up 2.7 percent on year in September, the Bank of Japan said on Friday, standing at 800.2 trillion yen.

That was in line with expectations and was unchanged from the previous month.

The M3 money stock saw an increase of 2.3 percent on year to 801.0 trillion yen. That was slightly above forecasts for a 2.2 percent annual expansion, which would have been unchanged from the August reading.

The L money stock added 0.7 percent on year to 1,460.2 trillion after adding an annual 0.6 percent a month earlier.
