Capella Education Co. (CPLA) reported third quarter net income of $0.66 per share Tuesday morning, down from $0.80 per share in the previous year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.60.
Capella Education gapped up slightly Tuesday and climbed steadily until the middle of the morning. The stock ended the session higher by 3.71 at $35.03 and set a 2 1/2 month high.
