Lithuania's producer price inflation eased for the third consecutive month in in December, data released by the Department of Statistics showed Friday.
The producer price index increased 8.5 percent on an annual basis in December, notably slower than the 12.4 percent growth seen in November. Inflation slowed for the third month in a row.
Output prices of mining and quarrying products advanced 9.6 percent year-on-year, while manufacturing prices rose 7.8 percent. Producer prices of goods sold in the domestic market climbed 9.5 percent annually, while prices in the export market grew 7.7 percent.
On a monthly basis, producer prices dropped 0.7 percent in December, reversing the previous month's 0.2 percent increase.
