Gilead Sciences Inc. (GILD) reported fourth quarter adjusted EPS of $0.97 after the bell Thursday, compared to $0.95 in the previous year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $1.05.
Gilead Sciences has gapped open sharply higher Friday morning and is now up 4.46 at $53.77. The stock has been on an upward trend since mid-December and has risen to a new high for the year.
