CMI FPE Ltd., one of CMI Industry's Indian subsidiaries, has entered into a new agreement with Indian steel maker Bhushan Steel Ltd. for the supply of seven major steel processing equipment.
These orders will help Bhushan Steel to augment its production capacities of high quality steel strips and enter the hot rolled skin passed strip market.
The equipment to be supplied by the company include one skin pass mill for hot rolled coils suitable for 1750 mm wide strip at speed of 700mpm, one 6Hi cold rolling mill for 1350 mm wide strip at speed of 1400 mpm, one 4 Hi skin pass mill for 1250 mm wide strip at speed of 400 mm, one electrolytic cleaning line with inline 4Hi skin pass mill for 1350 mm wide strip at speed of 300 mpm, one cold rolling mill for narrow width strip of 500 mm, the modernization of one continuous galvanizing line and the modernization of previously supplied 1050 mm wide cold rolling mill.
All these equipment are to be commissioned within 15 months.
CMI FPE managing Director Jean Gourp said, "This agreement emphasizes Bhushan Steel's confidence in our equipment reliability and in our capability to accompany them in their new product range such as the hot rolled skin passed strip market. It also reconfirms that CMI FPE continues to be a preferred supplier of equipment for value added steel complexes."
CMI FPE shares are being traded at Rs.795.10, up by 0.08 percent from the previous close at the BSE.
