Babcock & Wilcox Co. (BWC) reported net income for the fourth quarter of $64.3 million or $0.54 per share, compared to $52.9 million or $0.45 per share for the year-ago quarter.
Fourth quarter revenues rose 13.6% to $800.78 million from $705.16 million a year ago.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.41 per share on revenue of $769.19 million for the fourth quarter.
