Japan Posts $1.289 Trillion In Foreign Reserves

Japan had $1.289 trillion in official foreign reserves in March, the Bank of Japan said on Friday.

That's down from $1.303 trillion in February.

The central bank's total assets outstanding at the end of March come to 139.6 trillion yen, down 2.7 trillion yen from the corresponding balance of 142.4 trillion yen at the end of March 2011.
