Steam boiler maker Babcock & Wilcox Co. (BWC) Monday announced a contract, worth more than 30 million, to design and supply a selective catalytic reduction or SCR system for Xcel Energy's coal-fired Pawnee Generating Station in Brush, Colorado.
The production of SCR system, which is used to control emission of nitrogen oxides in a boiler, is scheduled to start-up by mid-2014.
