Penn Virginia Resource Partners (PVR) announced Tuesday morning that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Chief Gathering LLC for $1.0 billion.
Penn Virginia Resource Partners gapped open higher this morning and has continued to rise in early trade. Shares are now up 1.37 at $23.73. The stock broken out to a week and a half high.
