Simulations Plus, Inc. (SLP), Tuesday, reported a lower profit for the second quarter.
The Lancaster, California-based company reported a second-quarter net profit of $838 thousands, compared to $907 thousands last year. On a per-share basis earnings was flat at $0.05 with last year.
The company noted that nonrecurring charges and increased expenses impacted the results.
Total revenues for the quarter rose to $2.79 million from $2.62 million in the prior-year quarter.
