After moving broadly sideways in early European trading, the yen resumed its late Asian session downtrend against its major rivals on Wednesday morning in New York. As of 9:45 am ET, the yen was trading at 81.07 against the dollar, 129.16 against the pound, 88.70 versus the Swiss franc and 106.56 against the euro.
