Pound Climbs Further Following U.K. Claimant Count Rate And BoE Minutes

At 4:30 am ET Wednesday, the Bank of England has published minutes of the monetary policy meeting held on April 4 and 5. Also, U.K. claimant count data for March was released. Amid these releases, the pound rose further against other major currencies.

The pound is now trading at 1.5967 against the greenback, 129.99 against the yen, 0.8212 against the euro and 1.4643 against the franc.
