Lithuania's industrial production increased from last year in March, data released by the Department of Statistics showed Monday.
Industrial production increased 5.8 percent on an annual basis in March. Production in the mining and quarrying industry climbed 9.9 percent annually, while manufacturing output gained 7.9 percent. Meanwhile, there was an 8.6 percent year-on-year fall in the production of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply during the month.
Month-on-month, industrial output advanced a seasonally adjusted 3 percent in March. In the January-March period, Lithuania's industrial output advanced 3.9 percent from the corresponding period a year earlier, the agency said.
