After moving broadly sideways in most part of Tuesday's Asian session, the dollar resumed its overnight downtrend against the pound ahead of the European session. The greenback is presently trading at a 4-day low of 1.6141 against the pound and a move below Friday's low of 1.6145 could set its weakest mark in nearly 6-months.
