Japan's small business confidence declined in April, survey data from Shoko Chukin Bank showed Wednesday.
Small business sentiment came in at 47.6 in April, down from 48.7 a month ago. The index is forecast to drop further to 46.3 in May.
Confidence among manufacturers dipped to 45.8 from 48.7 in March. On the other hand, sentiment among non-manufacturers rose to 49.1 from 48.7.
