Watson Pharmaceuticals Inc. (WPI) announced after the bell Wednesday that it agreed to acquire privately held Actavis Group for EUR4.25 billion. The stock is now up 3.81 on 675K shares.
Watson Pharmaceuticals posted early gains Wednesday morning and advanced further in the early portion of the afternoon. Shares finished up by 1.09 at $69.69.
