Companhia Paranaense de Energia or Copel (ELP) reported first-quarter 2012 net income of R$320 million or R$1.17 per share, with earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization amounting to R$585.4 million.
Operating income for the latest quarter was R$476 million.
