Ormet Corp. (ORMT.PK) posted first-quarter net loss of $1.1 million or $0.06 per share, compared to a net income of $5.5 million or $0.30 per share in the prior year quarter.
Operating income for the quarter was $3.22 million, down from $10.10 million in the year-ago period.
Net sales for the quarter rose to $138.5 million from $124.2 million in the comparable quarter last year.
