Columbus McKinnon Corp. (CMCO) Thursday said its profit for the fourth quarter surged, driven mainly by a double-digit growth in revenues.
The Amherst, New York-based company reported a fourth-quarter net profit of $9.0 million or $0.46 per share, compared to $2.54 million or $0.13 per share last year.
On average, four analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.39 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
Total revenues for the quarter grew 10.8 percent to $159.57 million from $143.97 million in the prior-year quarter.
