India's foreign exchange reserves declined by $1.74 billion to $288.25 billion during the week ended May 25, the Reserve Bank of India said Friday.
The decrease reflects $1.71 billion fall in foreign currency assets. Special Drawing Rights dropped by $18.6 billion to $4.38 billion.
Reserve position with IMF was down by $12.1 billion, totaling $2.85 billion. Gold was valued at $26.61 billion for the week.
