Lenexa, Kansas-based software company Mediware Information Systems, Inc. (MEDW) said Friday its Chief Operating Officer John Damgaard will step down, effective September 7, 2012. Damgaard is leaving Mediware to join a private company as its president.
Damgaard will continue in his role throughout the summer, and Mediware president and CEO Thomas Mann will use to the time to consider several options, including hiring a new COO or restructuring roles within the company.
