Apple Inc. (AAPL) Monday announced that the latest version of its operating system Mac OS X Mountain Lion will be available in July for $19.99.
Apple said the laters version comes with more than 200 new features including the iCloud integration, Messages app, Facebook integration, Power Nap, and the enhanced security of Gatekeeper.
"The pace of innovation on the Mac is amazing, OS X Mountain Lion comes just a year after the incredibly successful launch of Lion," said Philip Schiller, Apple's senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing.
In order to upgrade to Mountain Lion, an system should run either on Lion or Snow Leopard, and have a memory of 2GB and 8GB of available space.
Apple has replaced iChat and brings iMessage into to the Mac, with also built-in support for Facebook.
