During early Asian deals on Wednesday, the Japanese currency extended its previous session's downtrend against major rivals. As of now, the yen is worth 83.03 against the franc, 79.68 versus the US dollar, 99.72 against the euro, 124.13 against the pound, 62.04 versus the NZ dollar and 79.44 against the Aussie.
