Ecology and Environment Inc. (EEI) Thursday reported a sharp decrease in profit for the third quarter, due mainly to lower revenues.
The Lancaster, New York-based company's third-quarter net profit was $56 thousand or $0.01 per share, compared to $1.43 million or $0.34 per share last year.
Total revenues for the quarter dropped 12 percent to $36.01 million from $41.12 million in the prior-year quarter.
