Ashtead Group Plc (AHT.L) posted fourth-quarter profit attributable to equity holders of the company of 23.5 million pounds or 4.6 pence per share versus loss of 13.1 million pounds or 2.6 pence per share last year. Underlying earnings per share surged to 4 pence from 0.4 pence in the prior year.
Pre-tax profit for the quarter was 31.9 million pounds compared to pre-tax loss of 19.9 million pounds a year ago. Underlying pre-tax profit soared to 25.6 million pounds from 2.7 million pounds in the same quarter a year earlier.
Quarterly revenues climbed year-over-year to 287.8 million pounds from 242.8 million pounds.
