BancorpSouth Insurance Services, Inc., a subsidiary of BancorpSouth Bank (BXS), said Monday that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the assets of The Securance Group, Inc. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The transaction is expected to close on July 2nd.
Securance is an independent property and casualty and life and health insurance agency headquartered in Brewton, Alabama. It also operates offices in Montgomery and in Troy.
