Following the release of the German GfK consumer confidence index for July at 2 am ET Tuesday, the euro rose against the dollar, yen and pound, but it held in a tight range against the franc.
At present, the euro is worth 1.2514 against the dollar, 99.68 against the yen, 0.8031 against the pound and 1.2012 against the franc.
